Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a 6-month project in Oxenton, just outside Cheltenham.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, ideally combined with experience in water and sewage treatment works.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor
- Strong civils/construction background
- Water network experience
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades
- Good understanding of site health & safety requirements
- SMSTS and CSCS
Responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations and site teams
- Manage subcontractors and site operatives
- Monitor programme, progress and quality
- Ensure RAMS, permits and site documentation are maintained
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, engineers and client representatives
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and relevant standards
