Summary: The Site HSE Advisor at Saipem will be responsible for supporting the development and management of the safety management system during the engineering and development phases of carbon capture projects. This role involves driving HSE awareness, conducting inspections, managing risk assessments, and promoting environmental compliance. The position requires several years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry and relevant qualifications in HSE or engineering. The role is a contractor position for 7 months, full-time, based in Teesside, England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving HSE awareness through workforce engagement and training
- Conducting inspections, monitoring subcontractors, and ensuring equipment compliance
- Managing risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis, and safe work practices
- Overseeing Permit to Work systems and hazardous material controls
- Reporting HSE performance, tracking KPIs, and supporting investigations
- Promoting environmental compliance and sustainability on site
Key Skills:
- Qualification in HSE or engineering related field, Nebosh diploma
- Several years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry and onshore projects
- Experience with construction design regulation management and survey/investigation
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification

As Site HSE Advisor you will report to the Field HSE manager. You will provide support to ensure the correct development, management and improvement of the safety management system throughout the engineering and development phases (EPIC Projects) of our BP NEP / NZT carbon capture projec
