Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying works using GPS, Total Station and relevant software
- Managing quality assurance documentation including ITPs, inspections and as-built records
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme
- Providing engineering support across bridge, RC and structural steel packages
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Producing RAMS, permits and engineering records where required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects
- Bridges, reinforced concrete structures or structural steel experience essential
- Competent with setting out equipment and engineering software
- Strong understanding of QA processes and site documentation
- CSCS Card required
- Right to work in the UK
Carmichael UK is recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join one of the UK's largest and most complex infrastructure projects in Warwickshire.
We are looking for engineers who have a strong background in bridges, reinforced concrete structures, or structural steel works and can demonstrate experience delivering technically challenging projects for Tier 1 contractors or major civil engineering organisations.
