Site Engineer - Setting out Engineer Smethwick

Summary: The role of Site Engineer for Roads and Highways involves setting out tasks for a highways project in Coventry. Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out on-site (EDM / Total Station) for all aspects of work including drainage, earthworks, roadworks, ducting, site clearance, fencing, and structures.
• Work as part of a team and assist all team members as required, while also being able to undertake site duties individually.
• Complete a daily diary of works being undertaken on-site with accurate and comprehensive details.
• Complete check sheets for quality standards in accordance with ITPs.
• Attend site meetings related to programme, safety, and working areas.
• Maintain good communication skills with team, sub-contractors, general public, and clients.
• Undertake site surveys and produce sketches of survey work and construction sequences.

Key Skills:

• CSCS card relevant to appointment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the civil engineering industry.
• Proficiency in using a laptop and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in site surveying and producing sketches.

Salary (Rate): £335/day
