The Role
As the Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering duties on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in accordance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out for culvert installation and associated civils works.
- QA, inspections and quality documentation.
- Producing and maintaining accurate site records.
- Liaising with the Site Manager, subcontractors and the client.
- Ensuring works are completed safely and to programme.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Supporting delivery of drainage, earthworks and reinforced concrete works where required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects.
- Experience with culverts, drainage, highways or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Competent using Leica, Trimble or similar surveying equipment.
- CSCS Card (essential).
- SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable).
- First Aid (desirable).
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
