A prestigious organisation is embarking on an exciting construction project within the stunning surroundings of Dalby Forest.

The project will involve the creation of a new mountain bike facility and an accessible toilet unit, supporting increased visitor access and enhancing recreational infrastructure within the area.

Your new role

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the project team on a contract basis until the end of March 2027.

Based between the Pickering office and site locations within Dalby Forest, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the project from pre-construction through to completion.

• Setting out works and ensuring accuracy throughout construction
• Overseeing site activities and supervising subcontractors
• Producing and managing scopes of work
• Preparing and reviewing RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)
• Monitoring project budgets and costs
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
• Supporting project planning and coordination during the pre-construction phase
• Liaising with stakeholders, contractors, and project teams

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction projects
• CAD experience
• Strong setting out experience
• Experience supervising contractors and managing site activities
• Knowledge of RAMS preparation and review
• Budget monitoring and cost management experience
• Ability to create detailed scopes of work
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to site locations
• Basic DBS check (required)
