Summary: The Site Engineer role involves working on a Civil's project in South Wales, focusing on drainage, ducting, and RC structures. The candidate will be responsible for managing project information, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and maintaining quality assurance on-site. Proficiency in AutoCAD and effective communication skills are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, manage, and distribute project information to the site team.
- Ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is carried out.
- Construct works according to the latest design and agreed specifications.
- Carry out Project QA and maintain the site diary.
- Competently use AutoCAD, read drawings, and quantify materials.
- Execute ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding project information.
- Identify and raise potential issues with problem-solving capabilities.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience on Civils projects.
- Knowledge of Laser Levels, Total Stations, and GPS.
- Competency in AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.

Gortmore are working for a leading contractor who are looking for a Site Engineer’s on a Civil’s project in the South Wales area.
The candidate must:
- Have Previous experience working on Civils projects on drainage, ducting, RC Structures, etc.
- Must have excellent Knowledge of, Laser Levels, Total Stations and GPS’s.
- Monitoring, manage, distribute project information to site team and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
- Ensure the works are constructed to latest design and agreed Specification.
- Ensure Project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
- Must be competent in Auto Cad, reading drawings and quantifying materials.
- Carry out ITP’s, KPI’s, RFI’s, etc.
- Have excellent communication skills and in distributing project information to work colleagues.
- Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
