Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out for pipeline installation and associated civils works
- QA and inspection of works in line with ITPs
- Producing and reviewing RAMS
- Ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance
- Supporting progress reporting and site documentation
- Liaising with design teams and project stakeholders
- Installation of new pipeline infrastructure
- Upgrades to existing wastewater treatment assets to improve water quality
- Diverting treated flows to support restoration of natural river conditions
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering
- Strong background in pipeline, utilities, water, or infrastructure projects
- Competent with setting out and QA processes
- Experience working under NEC contracts (desirable)
- Relevant CSCS card (minimum requirement)

This scheme plays a critical role in improving river water quality and environmental sustainability within a protected catchment area.Working on behalf of a regional water authority, the project includes the design and construction of a large-scale pipeline and upgrades to existing treatment facilities, forming a key part of long-term environmental commitments.
Your new roleAs a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of key work packages across a multi-disciplinary civil engineering scheme.
Duties will include:
- Setting out for pipeline installation and associated civils works
- QA and inspection of works in line with ITPs
- Producing and reviewing RAMS
- Ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance
- Supporting progress reporting and site documentation
- Liaising with design teams and project stakeholders
The works consist primarily of large-diameter pipeline installation across rural and semi-rural environments, with associated infrastructure and crossings.
The scope of works includes:
- Installation of new pipeline infrastructure
- Upgrades to existing wastewater treatment assets to improve water quality
- Diverting treated flows to support restoration of natural river conditions
The project is being delivered under a national environmental programme and is due for completion in 2027.
What you'll need to succeed
