Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, manage, and distribute project information to the site team.
- Ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is carried out.
- Ensure works are constructed to the latest design and agreed specifications.
- Carry out project quality assurance and maintain the site diary.
- Quantify and order materials such as concrete, rebar, and drainage materials.
- Carry out Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and distribute project information.
- Identify and raise potential issues proactively.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience on Rail projects, particularly in civils and structures.
- Competency in AutoCAD and reading engineering drawings.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in managing project QA processes.

Gortmore are working with a leading contractor who are looking for a Site Engineer on a Rail infrastructure project in the Leeds area.
The candidate must:
- Have Previous experience working on Rail projects working on Civils, Soil Nails, RC Structures, service/drainage installation, etc.
- Monitoring, manage, distribute project information to site team and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
- Ensure the works are constructed to latest design and agreed Specification.
- Ensure Project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
- Must be competent in Auto Cad, reading drawings and quantifying/ordering materials such as Concrete, rebar, drainage/earthworks materials etc.
- Carry out ITP’s, KPI’s, RFI’s, etc.
- Must be competent in Auto Cad, reading drawings and quantifying materials.
- Have excellent communication skills and in distributing project information to work colleagues.
- Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
