Summary: The role of Freelance Site Engineer involves immediate engagement in a major substation project in Kelso, Scotland. The position requires expertise in civil engineering, particularly in setting out and overseeing quality assurance procedures. Key Skills:
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil infrastructure projects (ideally substations or energy sector)
- Proficient with setting out equipment (e.g. GPS, Total Station)
- Strong understanding of QA procedures and documentation
- Ability to mentor and work collaboratively with junior staff
- CSCS card
