Delivering major marine infrastructure demands accurate setting out, strong site control and an engineer who understands how civils work comes together on the ground.

As a Site Engineer, you’ll work on a substantial Fort William project covering new slipways, berthing infrastructure, earthworks, drainage and concrete works.

With accommodation provided alongside a vehicle and fuel card, this is particularly well suited to someone happy to work away during the week.

The project has a 64-week programme, with an immediate start available and the initial contract expected to run for at least six months.

Your responsibilities as Site Engineer

  • Carry out accurate setting out using EDM and GPS equipment
  • Monitor site works across earthworks, drainage, kerbing and reinforced concrete structures
  • Support delivery of two new slipways, an overnight berthing structure and associated parking and marshalling areas
  • Monitor works including dredging, sheet piling, concrete works and surfacing
  • Complete QA documentation and raise RFIs and ITPs as required
  • Help ensure work is delivered safely, accurately and in line with project requirements

What we’re looking for in a Site Engineer

  • Previous experience working on civil engineering projects involving earthworks, drainage, kerbing or reinforced concrete structures
  • Practical setting-out experience using EDM and GPS equipment
  • Experience completing QA documentation, RFIs and ITPs
  • Ability to monitor construction works against drawings, specifications and project requirements
  • Relevant civil engineering or construction qualifications

Working hours

Monday to Friday, with some Saturday working required.

Weekend overtime arrangements to be agreed.
