Summary: The Site Engineer will be responsible for setting out and managing daily engineering activities for a major highways scheme in Ely. This role involves ensuring compliance with project specifications and liaising with various stakeholders. The position offers a long-term contract with a competitive day rate. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in major highways projects and strong surveying skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out for major highways and infrastructure works
- Managing daily site engineering activities
- QA, surveys & as-built records
- Ensuring works are delivered to programme and specification
- Liaising with site team, subcontractors & management
Key Skills:
- Proven experience on major highways schemes
- Strong setting out and surveying skills
- Valid CSCS card
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Own kit preferred (GPS / Total Station)
