Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out all setting out activities on site to ensure works are constructed in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Performing quality assurance checks and maintaining accurate QA records
- Liaising with the site management team, subcontractors, and design teams to resolve technical queries
- Ensuring all works comply with current standards, tolerances, and project requirements
- Completing as-built surveys and contributing to snagging and inspection processes
- Supporting the project team in the day-to-day engineering management of the scheme
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer, ideally on high-rise or large-scale commercial/residential projects
- Strong setting out skills using total station, GPS, and other survey equipment
- Experience with QA procedures and documentation
- Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- CSCS card
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a busy site team

The Company
Buildforce are recruiting on behalf of a main contractor currently delivering a high rise development in the heart of Birmingham city centre. We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to start immediately.
The Role
As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of this landmark project. Working directly for the main contractor, your primary responsibilities will cover setting out and quality assurance throughout all stages of construction.
