The Site Engineer contracting discipline covers work within construction and civil engineering projects to provide on-site technical supervision, quality control, and engineering management during the construction phase, ensuring that work is built in accordance with the design drawings, specifications, and quality management plans. The work involves setting out structures and services using surveying equipment, checking and verifying the work of trades and subcontractors against design drawings, maintaining site records and quality documentation, managing the technical aspects of construction sequences, liaising with the design team on RFIs and technical queries, and supporting the site management team in delivering the project safely and to programme.
