Summary: The Site Agent role involves overseeing the delivery of water and infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and commercial standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of a single large site or multiple smaller projects.
- Ensure high standards of site safety, quality, programme adherence, and commercial/subcontract management.
- Act as the site-based lead, building strong relationships with operational staff and supply chain partners.
- Foster a team-oriented, collaborative work environment.
- Oversee all project phases: design, procurement, assembly, commissioning, and handover.
- Ensure compliance with Framework Management Plans, Safe Systems of Work, and Health, Safety & Environmental (SHE) procedures.
- Lead site-based collaborative planning and take ownership of the look-ahead programme.
- Manage change control and subcontractor performance in collaboration with the Project Manager and commercial team.
- Promote a safety-first culture to achieve Zero LTI and RIDDOR Incidents.
- Drive efficiency by challenging project scope and identifying value-for-money solutions.
- Engage all stakeholders and manage project impacts effectively.
- Maintain full compliance with governance procedures and internal reporting standards.
- Proactively identify and escalate risks and blockers to the Project Manager.
- Lead the site team in achieving SHEQ, time, and cost performance targets.
- Ensure smooth project handovers upon completion.
- Manage any customer or public interactions impacted by the project.
- Ensure all necessary statutory approvals are obtained.
- Contribute to monthly forecasting of costs and programme delivery.
