Summary: The Siebel Developer role based in Liverpool requires an experienced professional with a strong background in Siebel development and configuration. The position involves significant initial travel for handover and ongoing collaboration with clients and vendors. Candidates must possess excellent technical skills in Siebel and related technologies, along with strong communication abilities. The role is hybrid, allowing for a mix of on-site and remote work after the initial phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop solutions using Siebel configuration, EAI, EIM, and PL/SQL.
- Support large-scale Siebel Enterprise installations and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Manage development and SIT environments, ensuring adherence to release and change management processes.
- Conduct end-to-end testing and migration of Siebel changes from Dev to SIT.
- Update technical design documents and provide performance tuning solutions for integrations.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and vendors.
- Participate in the software development life cycle and support Siebel application maintenance.
Key Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in IT and Siebel development.
- Strong understanding of Siebel architecture, deployment methodologies, and data models.
- Proficiency in Siebel configuration, Assignment Manager, EIM, workflows, and eScript.
- Experience with integration using EAI, web services, SOAP, and Siebel Out of the Box adapters.
- Knowledge of databases, particularly MSSQL Server and Oracle.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, for client interactions.
- Experience in Linux environments and Siebel development tools.
