Summary: The Shopify POS Deployment Support Analyst will be responsible for supporting the rollout of Shopify POS across multiple retail locations in West Sussex. This role involves ensuring that sites are prepared, deployed, and operational, while providing post-deployment support. The position requires collaboration with IT teams, retail operations, and store colleagues to facilitate user onboarding and device deployment. The contract is for an initial duration of 4 months and falls inside the scope of IR35 regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the rollout of Shopify POS, ensuring sites are fully prepared and operational.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, retail operations, suppliers, and store colleagues.
  • Assist with store readiness activities, user onboarding, and device deployment.
  • Conduct connectivity checks and cutover activities.
  • Provide post go-live validation and support.
  • Travel to stores as needed, with business mileage covered.

Key Skills:

  • Experience supporting POS systems, retail technology, or large-scale multi-site deployments.
  • Knowledge of Shopify POS or similar retail POS platforms.
  • Apple device support and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience supporting POS hardware including payment devices, printers, and scanners.
  • Understanding of Wi-Fi, DHCP, store networking, and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, ideally VMware AirWatch/Workspace ONE.
  • User setup, access management, PIN creation, device association, and onboarding support.
  • Experience supporting technology cutovers, migrations, and go-live activities.
  • Support Apple device management through MDM including device enrolment, app deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with store network readiness, Wi-Fi validation, and migration from static IP to DHCP-based connectivity.

Shopify POS Deployment Support Analyst - West Sussex - Shopify POS/Apple Devices/Retail Rollouts

TrinIT Talent are looking for a Shopify POS Deployment Support Analyst to come on board for an initial 4 month contract based in West Sussex. This role falls Inside Scope of IR35 and is paying £275 per day.

Job Description:-

You will play a key role in supporting the rollout of Shopify POS, ensuring sites are fully prepared, deployed, supported and operational from go-live through to post-deployment support.

Working closely with IT teams, retail operations, suppliers and store colleagues, you will support store readiness activities, user onboarding, device deployment, connectivity checks, cutover activities and post go-live validation.

The rollout programme is scheduled to run from mid-July through to mid-November, supporting a structured deployment across multiple retail locations. Whilst some travel to stores may be required, this is expected to be minimal and all business mileage will be covered.
