Summary: The Trust is seeking candidates for its award-winning Trust Trainee rotations in various medical specialties, including emergency and intensive care medicine. Each rotation lasts 12 months and offers full educational and clinical supervision, with opportunities for trainees to achieve significant certifications. The program is designed for those post-F2 or in pre-IMT training, with options for contract renewal after the initial term. Trainees will also have access to various educational resources and appraisal processes throughout their training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in 12-month rotations across emergency medicine, acute medicine, and various medical specialties.
  • Engage in full educational and clinical supervision during training posts.
  • Complete MRCP (or FRCA) examinations and apply for core medical, anaesthetic, or specialty training.
  • Attend PACES teaching, medical SHO procedures course, and Reg Ready sim sessions.
  • Undergo mid-year GMC approved SARD appraisal and end-of-year ARCP with training programme directors.
  • Renew contracts for an additional year if not applying for deanery posts.
