Shipping Coordinator

Peterborough

Twelve-month contract

£20.00 / hr umbrella

Fully site based 08:00-16:00 Mon-Thurs, 08:00-15:30 Fri with 30min lunch. Flexible on start/finish times.

The Opportunity:

This role sits within the Supply Chain team based in Peterborough and will be a key player in planning, arranging and processing shipments to our global customer base.

What You Will Do:

  • Arrange for shipments of products to be despatched to customers based on available product
  • Working with carriers and customers to agree collection schedules
  • Send all relevant documentation for the shipments to the necessary contacts
  • Prepare, submit and record the export entry for goods sent overseas

Transportation:

Knowledge of transportation; ability to transport materials and goods to manufacturing facilities and customers.

  • Ensures on time shipments; anticipates and resolves shipping problems.
  • Works with at least one type of transportation mode and carrier.
