Summary: The SharePoint Office 365 Developer role involves supporting projects that leverage the Office 365 platform, with a focus on enhancing the strategic adoption of SharePoint across the Bank. The position requires collaboration with development teams to implement Agile methodologies and improve existing applications. The developer will also lead technical workshops, conduct code reviews, and contribute to the rollout of new tools. This is a temporary position for 6 months, with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support projects leveraging the Office 365 platform and drive strategic adoption of SharePoint.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement Agile methodologies.
  • Lead technical and design workshops within the team.
  • Conduct code reviews to improve team skills.
  • Plan and estimate upcoming work volumes.
  • Contribute to the rollout of new tools and applications to improve development processes.

Key Skills:

  • Understanding of SharePoint environments.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 with DevOps.
  • Hands-on development experience with Office 365 tools including SharePoint Online, PowerApps, Power Automate, and SPFX or ReactJS.
  • Experience with CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML5.
  • Solid knowledge of Rest API and Graph API.

Job Title: SharePoint Office 365 Developer

The Skills You'll Need: SharePoint Developer, DevOps. CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and HTML5

Your New Salary: UP TO £490 per day (umbrella)

Hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 day a week from home (it might change in the beginning for training purpose))

Temp for 6 Months initially. All roles will be rolling contracts up to 2yrs

SharePoint Office 365 Developer - What You'll be Doing:

  • Taking a developer role with the SharePoint/Office 365 development team to support Projects which will leverage Office 365 platform and to drive a more strategic adoption of SharePoint for wider use across the Bank
  • Working with the team and the wider development team to both grow and to help adopt Agile like methodologies with practical implementation alongside the daily operation support people for existing SharePoint/Office 365 applications
  • Working with the wider Development and Architecture teams to develop and establish best practices of SharePoint/Office 365
  • Contributing to and regularly leading the technical and design workshops within the team
  • Critically and actively conducting code review procedures to ensure improvement in skills across the team
  • Participating in exercises to both plan and estimate upcoming work volumes
  • Contributing to the rollout of new tools and applications that will improve the development processes

SharePoint Office 365 Developer - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Understanding of SharePoint environments
  • Understanding of Office 365 knowledge with DevOps
  • Hands on development with Office 365 tools including SharePoint Online (PowerApps, Power Automate and SPFX or ReactJS)
  • Hands on experience with CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and HTML5
  • Solid Rest API and Graph API knowledge
  • Early morning or late night shift working (occasionally).
  • Weekend working (occasionally).
