Summary: The SharePoint Migration Specialist role is a 3-month fixed-term contract focused on designing and delivering migration solutions for SharePoint and OneDrive into Microsoft 365. The position requires deep expertise in SharePoint ecosystems and modern migration tools, along with strong experience in data governance and enterprise-scale delivery. The specialist will oversee the entire migration project lifecycle, from planning to execution and transition into managed services. Active SC clearance is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver SharePoint and Microsoft 365 migration workshops, including discovery, assessment, and solution design.
- Define migration strategies aligned to client requirements such as tenant-to-tenant migrations and file share migrations.
- Own and contribute to end-to-end migration delivery (assessment, planning, execution, validation).
- Design and implement governance-aligned target architectures.
- Configure and optimize migration tooling including ShareGate and Microsoft native tooling.
- Lead or support complex migration scenarios, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
- Work closely with architects, change teams, and managed services for seamless service handover.
- Support pre-sales efforts by contributing to proposals and demonstrating migration approaches.

Position Overview
We are looking for a SharePoint Migration Specialist to join us for a 3 month fixed term contract. This role is focused on the design and delivery of SharePoint and OneDrive migration solutions into Microsoft 365. You will bring deep expertise in SharePoint ecosystems (on-prem and online) and modern migration tooling, combined with strong experience in data governance, automation, and enterprise-scale delivery. You will play a key role across the full lifecycle of migration projects—from discovery and planning through to execution, optimization, and transition into managed services.
Salary & Benefits
This role is a fixed term contract, so we will provide a competitive annualised base salary to compensate for the role not being on a day-rate. Our recruitment team will request your salary expectations once your application has been submitted.
