Summary: The SharePoint Engineer role involves collaborating with Squad Leads, Business Engagement Leads, and stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable work packages while adhering to agile principles. The position requires managing complex activities, resolving issues, and ensuring user needs are met. The role is based in either Frimley or Preston, with a hybrid working arrangement of 1-2 days on-site per week. This is a 12-month contract position within a leading Defence organization in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Squad Leads, Business Engagement Leads, and stakeholders to translate demands into work packages.
• Adapt plans based on prioritization of demand.
• Investigate, define, and resolve complex issues across various activities.
• Communicate and present information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Influence customers and participate in relevant activities.
• Make decisions impacting project success and team objectives.
• Collaborate with team members, users, and customers to meet user needs.

Key Skills:

• Best practice application management in line with ITIL processes.
• Experience with multiple versions of SharePoint.
• Minimum three years in a similar role or environment.
• Understanding of application development and promotion into multiple environments.
• Experience managing stakeholders and using third-party tools like Nintex, K2, Sharegate, Linkfixer.
• Strong project delivery and change request support experience.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external partners.
• Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills in various settings.
• ITIL foundation training and relevant intermediate training (desirable).
• Microsoft MS900 certification (mandatory), AZ900 (desirable).
