Summary: The SharePoint Developer role involves supporting a leading public sector organization with a critical MS Teams upgrade and various SharePoint projects. The position requires strong technical expertise in Microsoft SharePoint development and administration, along with proficiency in the Microsoft 365 suite and Power Platform. The developer will be responsible for designing and building secure, scalable solutions while collaborating with technical teams. This is a contract position for three months, based in London with hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with MS Teams upgrade and critical SharePoint projects.
- Develop and administer Microsoft SharePoint solutions, including SharePoint Online.
- Utilize Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams and OneDrive, for collaboration.
- Implement solutions using the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
- Architect and build secure, scalable solutions in Microsoft Azure.
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Develop custom solutions using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and C#.
- Create custom web parts and extensions using SPFx (SharePoint Framework).
- Integrate with REST APIs and Graph API.
- Manage source control systems and apply DevOps practices.
- Perform system administration tasks, including access control and service configuration.
- Ensure security, performance, and compliance in designs.
- Troubleshoot and debug within Microsoft environments.
- Mentor and share knowledge within technical teams.

- Strong expertise in Microsoft SharePoint development and administration.
