Summary: The ServiceNow Technical Architect will lead the design, development, and governance of the ServiceNow platform, focusing on CMDB architecture and integration. This hands-on leadership role requires strategic planning, technical design, and team support across various aspects of the ServiceNow environment. The architect will also guide developers, maintain documentation, and oversee integration capabilities while ensuring adherence to best practices and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop logical and physical data models for the CMDB.
- Architect data federation strategies, identifying and verifying data sources including external systems.
- Guide and support ServiceNow developers in configuring, maintaining, and operating the CMDB.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including data models, data federation strategies, CMDB management procedures, and role definitions.
- Deliver project status updates and create training materials and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Execute and maintain configuration management plans and processes, including training activities and physical configuration audits.
- Lead the development of automation within IT service management.
- Act as the technical lead for all new web services and integration capabilities on the ServiceNow platform.
- Support and improve all data integrations to and from ServiceNow.
- Oversee incident ticket resolution and work closely with vendors as needed.
- Review and approve technical design specifications and enforce development methodologies, including continuous integration and test coverage.
- Maintain solution integrity throughout delivery phases, managing scope, change requests, and delivery quality.
- Stay current with industry trends and modern software delivery practices.

- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Technical Architect or similar role.
- Deep understanding of CMDB architecture and configuration.
