Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end service design & service architecture for new and evolving services
- Define operating models, support models, and service wrappers
- Translate business requirements into ServiceNow specifications and service artefacts
- Ensure alignment with ITIL/ITSM best practice
- Lead service onboarding into tooling, processes, and support teams
- Define and assure non-functional requirements (NFRs)
- Drive service readiness at programme gateways
- Collaborate with architecture, operations, and vendor teams
- Contribute to AI service onboarding and support model design
Key Skills:
- 15+ years in Service Design/Service Architecture/ITSM in large enterprises
- Strong ServiceNow (ITSM/ITOM/AIOps) experience
- Proven experience defining operating models, support models, and service architecture
- Deep understanding of ITIL frameworks
- Experience across cloud (AWS/Azure), SaaS, and enterprise platforms (eg SAP)
- Strong stakeholder engagement across product, engineering, and operations

Supporting a major transformation programme we are looking for a senior Service Designer to lead the definition and onboarding of services across complex platforms and products.
Hands-on, architecture-level role, shaping how services are designed, supported, and operated at scale - including emerging AI-driven services and automation.
The Role
You will take ownership of service design and onboarding across new and existing platforms, ensuring services are:
- Fit for purpose, scalable and supportable
- Fully defined across operating model, support model, and service architecture
- Successfully onboarded into ServiceNow and ITSM tooling
