Summary: The ServiceNow Platform Lead at Taylor Wessing is responsible for enhancing IT services through the integration and adoption of ServiceNow solutions. This role involves managing platform upgrades, developing customized applications, and collaborating with various teams to improve technology experiences. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract within a leading global law firm that values creativity and innovation. The role requires a minimum of three years of relevant experience and technical proficiency in ServiceNow and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute ServiceNow platform upgrades with minimal disruption.
  • Resolve platform incidents and service requests in line with SLAs.
  • Design and implement custom applications, workflows, and integrations within ServiceNow.
  • Maintain platform stability, security, and performance through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Translate business requirements into effective ServiceNow solutions that deliver measurable benefits.
  • Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and adoption.
  • Support new teams joining the platform with training and guidance.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive records of configurations and processes.
  • Stay ahead of ServiceNow trends and identify opportunities for automation and optimisation.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years in a ServiceNow Platform Lead or similar role.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, WSD, HRSD, ITOM, CMDB).
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and/or Application Developer preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to understand business needs and deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is beneficial.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

Experience: Minimum 3 years in a ServiceNow Platform Lead or similar role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, WSD, HRSD, ITOM, CMDB).

Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and/or Application Developer preferred.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills with a collaborative mindset.

Customer Orientation: Ability to understand business needs and deliver value-driven solutions.
