Summary: The ServiceNow Developer role requires an individual with active SC clearance to design, develop, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure ServiceNow’s SPM suite, applications, modules, and workflows across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and other areas.
- Create and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, flows, and integrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and platform governance.
- Support platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and defects.
Key Skills:
- Experience developing on the ServiceNow platform in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow development tools.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and service management principles.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is preferred.
- One or more Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications (e.g., SPM, ITSM, HRSD, CSM) is preferred.
- Experience with Flow Designer, App Engine Studio, or Performance Analytics is preferred.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
