Summary: The role of ServiceNow Developer involves supporting the development of enterprise workflows and data-driven decisions within the Public sector. The position requires proficiency in JavaScript and extensive experience with the ServiceNow platform, including various modules and scripting capabilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration, particularly in Agile/Scrum environments. Certifications such as Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer are preferred or required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of enterprise workflows and data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in JavaScript for ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and CMDB.
- Design and implement ServiceNow workflows using Flow Designer and Legacy Workflow Editor.
- Develop custom widgets, pages, and themes for Service Portal.
- Manage data using Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Data Policies.
- Work with CMDB and Discovery for configuration management.
- Create dashboards and custom reports for performance analytics.
- Implement security and access control measures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript.
- Experience with ServiceNow platform and its modules.
- ServiceNow scripting skills including Client Scripts, Business Rules, and UI Policies.
- REST/SOAP API integration experience.

Technical Skills
Proficiency in JavaScript: Core Scripting language used in ServiceNow.
Experience with ServiceNow platform: Including modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and CMDB.
ServiceNow Scripting: Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
REST/SOAP API Integration: Building and consuming APIs for third-party integrations.
ServiceNow Workflows: Designing and implementing Flow Designer and Legacy Workflow Editor.
Service Portal Development: Custom widgets, pages, and themes.
Data Management: Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Data Policies.
Configuration Management: Working with CMDB and Discovery.
Performance Analytics and Reporting: Creating dashboards and custom reports.
Security and Access Control: Roles, ACLs, and data protection best practices.
