Summary: The ServiceNow Developer role is focused on configuring and managing Cloud Governance processes on the ServiceNow platform, requiring collaboration with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The position demands expertise in ServiceNow development, particularly in building technical solutions, API integration, and enhancing user experience through Service Portal. The developer will also be responsible for ensuring alignment with technology standards and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This is a senior-level position based in London, requiring significant experience in ServiceNow and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform based on project needs and process requirements.
  • Translating business requirements into functional design.
  • Proposing API-based solutions focused on usability and automation.
  • Providing technical insights on the capabilities and best practices of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Delivering toolset changes based on upcoming process changes.
  • Conducting end-to-end development activities for enhancements or projects as an individual contributor.
  • Working closely with Business Analysts, Architects, Platform & Testing teams, and process teams.
  • Identifying areas of process and tooling improvement and providing necessary solutions.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with ServiceNow web services and APIs.
  • Expertise in JavaScript and knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, and Workflow Configuration.
  • Experience in Angular JS, HTML 5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
  • Client-side and server-side scripting experience.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Portal and Integration Hub.
  • Ability to develop complex workflows and reusable APIs.
  • Strong technical background using web technologies.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence in an agile environment.
