Summary: The ServiceNow Developer role involves developing and customizing the ServiceNow platform, focusing on ITSM Maturity. The position is a 6-month contract that requires collaboration and technical expertise in various ServiceNow modules. The developer will be responsible for designing front-end forms and backend workflows while ensuring proper documentation and support. This role is hybrid, based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the adoption of ServiceNow modules through tool customisation
• Design and develop front end Service Portal forms
• Design and develop backend workflows (Flows)
• Perform support and technical documentation
• Develop ITSM Module, Self Service Portal, CMDB & Foundation Data, Knowledge Management, HR Service Delivery, and IRM as per the Service Enablement roadmap

Key Skills:

• Significant and demonstrable commercial experience in ServiceNow
• Experience of the current version of the ServiceNow platform
• Knowledge of platform mechanics and best practices
• Experience with Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Robust Transforms via IRE
• Knowledge of CMDB, CSDM & Asset Management
• Development experience in Self-Service Portal, AD/Azure AD Integration, Scoped Applications
• Strong teamwork, self-management, coaching, collaboration & communication skills
• Proficiency in HTML, XML, CSS & JSON
• JavaScript development within and independent of the ServiceNow framework
