Summary: The ServiceNow Developer - Consultant role involves collaborating with the Service Delivery Manager to enhance ServiceNow functionalities, particularly focusing on ITSM and ITAM modules. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy ServiceNow workflows and automation using Azure spokes and IntegrationHub to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Build and enhance business process solutions for HR and IT teams, particularly within the Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes, including workflow automation, form design, and catalog item configuration.
- Configure and maintain the CMDB, including CI class creation/modification and relationship mapping to ensure data integrity and support ITSM processes like Problem Management.
- Develop custom applications and modules within the ServiceNow platform to meet evolving business requirements.
- Design and implement Service Catalog items, approval workflows, and request management processes.
- Provide technical expertise on the capabilities and limitations of the ServiceNow platform and recommend best-practice solutions.
- Develop and configure the Change Enablement module in alignment with ITIL practices and business requirements.
Key Skills:
- Proven hands-on development experience in ServiceNow, including scripting (JavaScript), flow design, and custom application development.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow core modules: Service Catalog, Request Management, Change Management, and CMDB.
- Experience working with IntegrationHub and Azure spokes and Workflow Designer.
- Familiarity with ITSM processes, especially around Change, Problem, and Configuration Management.
- Ability to interpret business requirements into scalable, maintainable ServiceNow solutions.
- Effective communicator with experience working across IT and business teams.
