Summary: The ServiceNow Architect role focuses on leveraging strong Telecoms industry experience to design, implement, and support ServiceNow solutions for a global IT consultancy. This 6-month hybrid contract based in Newbury requires both technical and functional expertise in ServiceNow, including administration and enhancements to the platform. The position involves working closely with clients to improve their ServiceNow applications and ensure effective IT Service Management practices. Immediate start is expected in March/April.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ServiceNow design, implementation, administration, support, and upgrades.
  • In-depth experience with ServiceNow glide objects such as GlideRecords, GlideAjax, GlideSystem, and GlideAggregate.
  • Creating and modifying ServiceNow toolset components including ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, CSM, CMDB, and IRM.
  • Enhancements to the client ServiceNow platform, including changes to the user interface, system properties, foundation data, and workflows.
  • Strong functional and technical knowledge of ServiceNow platform navigation, administration, configuration, and scripting.
  • Implementing ITSM tools with proven experience in Incident Management, Service Request Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, and other ITIL process areas.
  • Rollout of new ServiceNow applications and modules, identifying system deficiencies and recommending solutions to clients.
  • System integration experience using Web Services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST, and SOAP.
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) practices and ITIL.
  • Advantageous skills in Agile/Scrum methods, Cloud, and SaaS.
