Summary: The ServiceNow Architect role focuses on leveraging extensive Telecoms industry experience to design, implement, and support ServiceNow solutions. This 6-month hybrid contract based in Newbury involves both on-site and remote work, providing an opportunity to enhance client ServiceNow platforms. The position requires strong technical knowledge of ServiceNow and ITSM practices, with an emphasis on system integration and application rollout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ServiceNow design, implementation, administration, support + upgrades.
  • In-depth experience of working with ServiceNow glide objects -eg- GlideRecords, GlideAjax, GlideSystem, GlideAggregate.
  • Creating + modifying ServiceNow toolset components including: ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, CSM, CMDB, IRM.
  • Enhancements to client ServiceNow platform, including changes to the user interface, system properties, foundation data + workflows.
  • Strong functional and technical knowledge of ServiceNow including ServiceNow platform navigation, administration, configuration, and scripting.
  • Implementing ITSM tools including proven experience with: Incident Management, Service Request Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management + other ITIL process areas.
  • Rollout of new ServiceNow applications + modules, identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions to clients.
  • System integration experience using Web Services and other web-based technologies -eg- XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST, SOAP.
  • IT Service Management (ITSM) practices and ITIL experience.
  • Advantageous Skills: Agile/Scrum methods, Cloud, SaaS.

  • Strong Telecoms industry experience.

  • Proficiency with ServiceNow glide objects.
  • Experience with ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, CSM, CMDB, IRM components.
  • Technical knowledge of ServiceNow platform navigation, administration, configuration, and scripting.
  • Experience with ITIL processes and ITSM tools.
  • System integration skills using web technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methods, Cloud, and SaaS.
