Service Transition Manager

Summary: The Service Transition Manager will oversee IT end-user service migrations as part of a national programme, ensuring a seamless transition of accounts, devices, systems access, and infrastructure with minimal disruption to users. This contract role spans 24 months and requires a combination of technical expertise and strong stakeholder management. The position involves significant collaboration with various teams and stakeholders across the UK. The role is based in Bristol with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring three days on-site and travel across the UK.

• Design and implement scalable, secure IT service transition solutions
• Coordinate with on-site teams, service providers, and internal stakeholders
• Support planning, testing, and execution of migrations
• Provide hands-on technical input and guidance
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in IT service or end-user migrations
• Strong stakeholder and communication skills
• Comfortable managing multiple site transitions
• Background in IT change, transformation, or M&A environments (desirable)
