Summary: The Service Owner role is responsible for managing the quality and lifecycle of a defined portfolio of services, ensuring the necessary people, processes, and tools are in place. This position oversees multiple products and channels, focusing on defining and monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to maintain service excellence. The role does not involve daily operational tasks but is crucial for ongoing service improvement and retirement. Security clearance is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall quality and lifecycle of a defined portfolio of services.
- Ensure the right people, processes, and tools are in place to support services from launch to retirement.
- Oversee multiple products and channels within each service.
- Define, monitor, and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Focus on ongoing service improvement.
Key Skills:
- Excellent experience and knowledge of ITIL V4.0 Practices.
- Portfolio Management.

- Continuous Improvement.
- Good experience and knowledge in technology obsolescence and application decommissioning.
- Bonus skills include experience within the MOD, Royal Navy, Software Delivery, and using Jira for Project Delivery.

The role will take a holistic view of the clients’ service portfolio, overseeing multiple products and channels within each service. While the role won't be involved in daily operational tasks, it will play a crucial role in defining, monitoring, and meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure service excellence.
