Summary: The ServiceNow Developer role involves working with a leading public sector client in Edinburgh on an initial 6-month contract. The position focuses on the development and customization of the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM Maturity, Governance Risk and Compliance, and HR Service Delivery. The developer will collaborate with the ServiceNow team using agile methodologies and will be responsible for both development and some support duties. Key skills include experience with ServiceNow integrations and knowledge of ITIL practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the adoption of ServiceNow modules through tool customization
• Design and develop Front End Service Portal forms
• Design and develop Back End workflows (Flows)
• Perform support and technical documentation

Key Skills:

• Experience of the current version of the ServiceNow platform
• Able to demonstrate knowledge of the platform mechanics and best practices
• Experience working with Import Sets, Transform Maps and Robust Transforms via IRE
• Knowledge of CMDB, CSDM & Asset Management
• Experience in development of Self-Service Portal, AD/Azure AD Integration, Scoped Applications
• Strong teamwork, self-managing and self-initiative, coaching, collaboration & communication skills
• HTML, XML, CSS & JSON
• JavaScript development independent of and within the ServiceNow framework
