Summary: The Service Modeler and CMDB Technical Consultant role involves analyzing and documenting service models and configuration management database (CMDB) structures. The position requires expertise in service model life cycles, automation, and knowledge of ITIL principles. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gloucester for a 12-month contract. The consultant will work with OpenText uCMDB and contribute to Service Asset & Configuration Management (SACM) practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding Service Models and associated CMDB structures
- Ability to analyse Service structures, CI components and relationships, document and build
- Knowledge of service model life cycle and its automation
- Knowledge of OpenText uCMDB
- Knowledge of ITIL Principals
- SACM (Service Asset & Configuration Management)
Key Skills:
- Experience with Service Models and CMDB structures
- Analytical skills for service structures and CI components
- Understanding of service model life cycle and automation
- Familiarity with OpenText uCMDB
- Knowledge of ITIL principles
- Experience in SACM
