Summary: The Service Introduction/Service Transition Manager role is focused on overseeing the Service Transition and Introduction Lifecycle for a leading private sector organization in Manchester. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in large corporate environments and demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills. A thorough understanding of project management principles and IT infrastructure technologies is essential for success in this position. The role requires engagement through an umbrella company, with all tax and NI deducted at source.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Service Transition and Introduction Lifecycle.
- Oversee stakeholder management and communication.
- Implement project management principles within the organization.
- Ensure adherence to service management principles, including change and release management.
- Collaborate with multiple business units across various locations.
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of Project Management Principles.
- General Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Technologies.
- In-depth understanding of Service Management principles (e.g., Change and Release management).
- Recent ITIL accreditation preferred.
- Outstanding Stakeholder Management skills.

Service Introduction/Service Transition Manager required for a leading private sector organisation based in Manchester.
The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge in all aspects of Service Transition and Introduction Lifecycle.
Experience working within large corporate organisations with multiple business units spread across multiple locations required.
In addition, you will need to have experience in the following:-
- Knowledge of Project Management Principles
- General Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Technologies
- In depth understanding of Service Management principles eg Change and Release management
- A recent ITIL accreditation preferred
- Outstanding Stakeholder Management skills
