Service Excellence Contractor

Glasgow - Hybrid-Working (with approx. 1-2 days p/w required onsite in Glasgow)

Circa 5 months initially - initial Contract to year-end

Circa 400 per day via Umbrella Company

A Glasgow based Client that we've worked with for many years (a well-known name in the Financial Service/Insurance sector), is currently seeking a Service Excellence Contractor to join their team on a Contract to the end of 2024. Working closely with their Service Excellence Lead, currently standing-up a new-ish team, the successful candidate is required to come in and support a range of different tasks (e.g. Metric Design, Policy & Audit, IT Disaster Recovery, Continuous Improvement, Change Management support and Jira board planning etc), helping to mature the team & overall service.

To be successful in this role, our Client is seeking candidates with the following knowledge & experience:

1. Proven knowledge & understanding of IT Service Excellence with the ability to assist the growth/development of a new team/function
2. A strong technical background with a deep/broad understanding across the likes of IT Service, IT Operations, Operational Resilience, Service Delivery, Service Transition and IT Change Management etc
3. Particular emphasis on Metric Design and Policy & Audit work would be highly advantageous
4. Proven knowledge utilising ServiceNow, Jira and Visio tools
5. Excellent communication and Stakeholder Management as always, alongside the ability to coach/mentor a new-ish team (when required)
