Summary: The role of Service Director - Education and Family Solutions involves leading the vision for education, inclusion, and support for vulnerable learners in the West Midlands. Key Responsibilities:
- Champion education and inclusion, driving improvements in attainment and outcomes for all learners, particularly vulnerable groups.
- Lead and deliver innovative services for SEND and vulnerable learners, school improvement, family solutions, early help, children's centres, youth services, and youth offending.
- Provide expert advice and challenge to schools and early years settings to ensure excellence.
- Oversee the strategic development and implementation of Dudley's SEND Strategy and Inclusion priorities.
- Work in partnership across health, education, and social care to deliver integrated, community-focused services.
Key Skills:
- A proven track record in education leadership, SEND, inclusion, or children's services.
- Experience of strategic planning, service transformation, and stakeholder collaboration.
