Summary: The Service Desk Engineer role focuses on supporting the deployment of Windows 11 within a prestigious organization. The position requires hands-on involvement in building, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop and laptop systems. The role is on-site in Molesey and the City of London for an initial contract of three months. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to users and manage Service Desk tickets effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project support for the build and deployment of Windows 11.
  • Build, configure, and support desktops, laptops, and other equipment.
  • Install, configure, and support software.
  • Troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve issues related to user login, system configurations, and software installations.
  • Provide support to users both on-site and remotely.
  • Answer the Service Desk help line.
  • Log and manage Service Desk tickets.
  • Create documentation and share knowledge of systems and processes.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested by the manager.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in Windows 11 deployment and support.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with desktop and laptop hardware configuration.
  • Familiarity with software installation and configuration.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality support.

Salary (Rate): 285
