Summary: The role of 1st Line Support involves providing technical assistance within a Microsoft environment, primarily through a Technical Service Desk ITIL framework. The contractor will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving incidents, aiming for first-contact resolution. The position requires onsite work in Dartford, with a transition to a hybrid model after initial settling in. The contract is for an initial period of three months, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st line support for technical issues in a Microsoft environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and complete Service Requests.
- Work within a Technical Service Desk ITIL environment.
- Ensure resolution of issues at the first point of contact.
- Transition from full onsite work to a hybrid model after settling in.
Key Skills:
- Good understanding of Microsoft Applications (Office365, Teams, OneDrive, MFA, SharePoint).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (Active Directory), Exchange, InTune.
- VPN experience, ideally with Fortinet.
- Familiarity with ITSM Service Desk Systems, preferably ServiceNow.

We are looking for a 1st Line Support Contractor who is comfortable working onsite in a Microsoft environment. You will work within a Technical Service Desk ITIL environment and will have technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve incidents and complete Service Requests, aiming for resolution at the 1st time of asking.
Skills and experience required:
- Good understanding of Microsoft Applications (Office365, Teams, OneDrive, MFA, SharePoint)
- Microsoft Azure (Active Directory), Exchange, InTune
- VPN experience - (ideally Fortinet)
- ITSM Service Desk Systems (ServiceNow preferred)
The role will be 5 days per week onsite in Dartford, moving to 3 days once you're settled in. Please consider this when applying for the position.
