Summary: The Service Desk Analyst role is a 6-month fixed-term contract position within a reputable financial services provider in London. The successful candidate will deliver 1st and 2nd line technical support, emphasizing exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting IT issues, managing permissions via Active Directory, and ensuring service level agreements are met. The role requires strong technical knowledge and communication skills to effectively assist users with their IT needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting IT issues and requests at 1st/2nd line level
  • Providing support on mobile phones and laptops
  • Using Active Directory for managing permissions
  • Troubleshooting on AV equipment
  • Ensuring call queues are maintained to ensure SLAs are met
  • Escalating third line issues appropriately

Key Skills:

  • Experience providing IT support in a similar professional services environment
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and other Microsoft products, e.g. MS Office, Office 365, Teams, Exchange
  • Active Directory administration experience
  • Experience supporting VOIP technologies
  • ITIL foundation qualification or experience in ITIL environments
  • A desire to provide first class customer service
  • Excellent communication skills

Salary (Rate): £42,000.00
