Summary: We are looking for a Service Desk Contractor for a 3-month contract in Dartford, focusing on completing Service Requests and manual software installations. The role requires strong customer service skills and technical expertise in various Microsoft applications. The contractor will work closely with end users to provide high-quality support while adhering to cybersecurity best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Service Requests with a primary focus on manual software installations.
- Communicate directly with customers, delivering excellent customer service at all times.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, user accounts, and Microsoft applications.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of the Service Desk team.
- Ensure adherence to cyber security best practices while performing all tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and updates within ITSM tools.
Key Skills:
- Strong technical background with good awareness and understanding of cyber security principles.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure (Active Directory), Microsoft Exchange, Intune, SCCM, and Office 365 applications including Teams, OneDrive, MFA, SharePoint.
- Ability to perform manual installations of complex or specialised software such as SolidWorks, Work Planner (including Crane Datas), Crane Planner, Unreal Engine, Twinmotion (Epic Games), and Doka.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and work autonomously when required.
- A collaborative mindset and strong team-working skills.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to follow established processes.
