Summary: The Service Designer role involves scoping problems and needs by analyzing user research and service journeys to identify service failures. Key Responsibilities:
- Problem/need scoping through user research and service-journey analysis
- Running collaborative workshops with service teams and users for ideation
- Prototyping services through rehearsals, walkthroughs, and wire-framing
- Delivering outputs such as blueprints and performance frameworks
- Collaborating with product managers and UCD leads on research objectives and design concepts
- Managing responsibilities across complex services
- Setting direction and embedding good practices within teams
- Making decisions based on research and understanding its impact
