About the Role
We're seeking a talented Service Designer to join our growing team and support the delivery of digital transformation programmes across the public sector.
You'll work alongside Product Managers, User Researchers, Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to design and improve services that deliver real value to citizens and end users.
This is an opportunity to influence service delivery, drive innovation, and help organisations create user-centred, accessible, and efficient services.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and improving end-to-end services across digital and non-digital channels.
- Mapping user journeys and developing service blueprints.
- Facilitating workshops and collaborative design sessions with stakeholders.
- Using user research and service insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Working within Agile, multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Ensuring services are accessible, inclusive, and aligned with best practice.
- Supporting projects through Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live phases.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Service Designer within digital transformation or change programmes.
- Strong understanding of user-centred and service design principles.
- Experience creating service blueprints, customer journeys, and process maps.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
Desirable Experience
- Public sector experience, including Central Government, Local Government, NHS, or Arm's Length Bodies.
- Knowledge of GDS standards and service assessment processes.
- Experience working on citizen-facing digital services.
- Familiarity with tools such as Miro, Mural, Figma, Visio, or Lucidchart.

Security Clearance
