The role:
A leading Government Institution are seeking a Service Architect (SC Cleared), to undertake an initial 12-month engagement.
Producing detailed service designs, you will lead on projects of work, acting as an SME and ensuring the design meets user and wider programme needs.
Experience requirements:
- Demonstrated strength in process, technical, and team leadership, with a drive to produce high-quality designs and foster a culture focused on technical excellence and creative problem solving.
- Proven ability to work across complex technology environments, collaborating with third-party vendors (including supporting procurement activities) as well as internal and cross-government stakeholders.
- Track record of leading the delivery of complex service solutions within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards, ensuring outcomes are stable, resilient, fully tested, and well documented.
- Experience identifying emerging technology trends and advising on how future developments may benefit products or services.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages, formats, and channels to suit a wide range of users and stakeholders.
- ITIL certified.
- Foundation-level project management knowledge in a recognised methodology (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, Lean).
