TEKsystems' payments client in London is looking at add a Server-Side API Engineer to their team. This role is a contract until the end of the year with a strong possibility of extension.
We are looking for a Server-side Engineer to work on Mobile application Service Layer (Backend for Frontend) that will be used by tens of millions of this company's cardholders around the world. We want someone with strong technical skills and creativity. You should enjoy solving tough problems and working with modern technologies. You should not be shy about sharing your ideas and be obsessive about user experience and beautiful code. You will be part of the Mobile Engineering team whose mandate is to develop new products and platforms for customers.??

We value engineers who actively leverage modern AI and LLM-based tools to enhance productivity, improve code quality, accelerate learning, and streamline development workflows. We are looking for individuals who have begun integrating these tools thoughtfully into their day-to-day work and can apply them responsibly to solve real engineering problems.
You will be working in a large team of engineers, product people, designers, and QA to build the Backend for Frontend API layer consumed by Award-winning mobile apps.
