Key Responsibilities:
- Regular delivery of high-quality work and accountability for results.
- Carry out SEO execution tasks including content curation, keyword research, technical analysis, and local listing optimisations.
- Monitor and share performance updates with clients.
- Ensure client-facing documents are accurate and up to date.
- Manage client calls, prepare agendas, and document actions.
- Build strong client relationships as the main point of contact.
- Support new business campaigns by suggesting potential brands for SEO support.
- Demonstrate effective upward management skills to Account Managers.

Digital Senior SEO Account Executive
Who are we? We are PHA, a leading integrated comms agency with offices in London, Manchester, Leeds and Boston. We are now looking for a passionate and ambitious Senior SEO Account Executive to join our growing Digital team on an initial fixed term basis for 9-12 months. There is potential for the role to expand into a permanent position. You can expect to work on multiple clients, varying in size and sectors, for example: HiPP Organic, 1:1 Diet, ILX, Jon Richard and Virgin Experience Days. What you will be doing?
- Client responsibilities
- Regular delivery of high-quality work and taking accountability for results.
- Carry out SEO execution tasks, such as onsite content curation and optimisation, keywords research, technical analysis and recommendations, and local listing optimisations, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and driving growth.
- Monitor and share performance updates with clients to showcase success.
- Work with other junior team members to pro-actively ensure client facing documents are accurate and up to date such as, progress logs and monthly reports, etc.
- Ownership on clients calls on account activity, prepare agendas, and accurately document, and circulate actions.
- Build a strong relationship with clients, becoming a trusted day to day main point of contact, providing regular activity updates.
- Growth
- Support the team with new business campaigns by suggesting potential brands and businesses who may need SEO support, working closely with Sales & Marketing alongside other senior members of your division, and assisting with proposals.
- People management
- Demonstrate consistent and effective upward management skills to Account Managers, sharing successes, and flagging issues at the earliest opportunity, whilst also starting to identify and suggest possible solutions.
- Provide ad hoc support and guidance to junior colleagues across accounts, helping them to develop core SEO agency skills including analytics, reporting, and time management.
- Industry knowledge
- Develop your knowledge of SEO trends and best practice e.g., the process and methodology of using SEO through the marketing funnel to achieve high-quality performance.
- Use your knowledge of industries relevant to your clients and research skills to contribute to planning and campaign strategies.
- Agency responsibilities
- Participation in agency wide activities and initiatives to build relationships with colleagues to include All Staff training, social events, and internal seminars relevant to your level.
- Regular attendance at role specific training organised through the PHA Academy.
