SEO Content Writer (9 Months FTC) Manchester, Hybrid

We’re looking for a SEO Content Writer on a 9 months fixed term contract who’s confident writing, editing, and managing digital content across our web and social platforms. You’ll take the lead on SEO-led content creation, making sure everything we publish is clear, consistent, and impactful. Working closely with our Digital Marketing Manager and SEO Manager, you’ll help us drive organic growth, strengthen our campaigns, and keep our content aligned with our brand and customer needs.

A typical day:

• Writing and optimising digital content, including web pages, blogs, and social posts
• Reviewing and approving content from stakeholders to make sure it’s accurate and on-brand
• Keeping messaging consistent across all our digital channels
• Working with internal teams to gather insights and ideas for campaigns and evergreen content
• Partnering with our SEO Manager to embed best practice and support organic growth
• Helping with SEO audits and health checks, spotting opportunities to improve content performance
• Uploading and managing content in our CMS
• Supporting colleagues with content processes and training to raise consistency
• Using tools like Similarweb and SEMrush to support performance reporting
• Getting involved in other content-related projects as needed

What you'll bring:

• Experience writing and editing for digital channels
• A good understanding of SEO basics and content best practice
• Confidence working with content management systems
• The ability to interpret performance data and act on it
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, and communication skills
• A collaborative, curious mindset — always looking to improve how content works across the customer journey
